General public sale is on Friday, 10/21. Good luck!

People and Trax

http://bit.ly/qATbU0
New and upcoming band, Foster the People. Hot and streamlining the United States playing shows all over the place.

The song, Pumped Up Kicks has been their top song and it already is starting some noise in the club world.

Recent mix to check out:

It has a strong dub feel to it and sounds great if you're into the down feeling of slow tempo dub step.

More info about Foster the People check out their site:

Traxamillion, for those of you who don't know him, is a rapper and producer from San Jose, California. He is more well know for his songs, SF Anthem and Sideshow (explicit lyrics). Recently has been quiet on the front and has not been throwing down too many tracks. Within his songs he brings his own rap while sampling another song.  In his mix tape Ima Star (explicit lyrics) he samples Justin Timberlake's Summer Love

A new release of his is also a sample of another song. I'm sure you can guess which one.

Fresh Beets: NEW Jay Electronica track

Call of Duty ft. Mobb Deep & produced by Just Blaze

Maybe, this is a sign that Jay's ready to release his LONG anticipated album, Act II:Patents of Nobility? He's talking about putting the finishing touches on it lately with producer/engineer Young Guru and, seriously, it's about time we finally get to hear it.

Jay Electronica dedicated this new track to Apple’s late co-founder Steve Jobs and his own hometown. “I dedicate today’s release to Steve Jobs’ family, and the people of New Orleans,” he tweeted (@JayElectronica). Jay Electronica for some reason later deleted that tweet along with the tweet to hear the new song. Fortunately, it is on YouTube.
