Who is ASAP Rocky? Known for his viral hits "Purple Swag" and "Pe$o",
the Harlem rapper has been getting a lot of buzz. His fanbase is growing
and celebs such as Mos Def, Jim Jones, Dave Chappelle, and Drake are a
part of it. "Pe$o", which was not only a hit on the internet, but also
made it's way on the radio on NYC's Hot 97. Pusha T just released his
version to track several hours ago as well.
As of last Friday, ASAP Rocky signed a $3 million deal with Polo Grounds Music, a subdivision of Sony/RCA. He is the first artist since 50 Cent to receive this substantial amount for a first signing. Clearly, the company sees huge potential in his work.
